The setting by the Elbe makes you want to get out walking or ride a bike along the rivers and through the surrounding landscape. Havelberg has historic buildings, culture, and useful amenities, while anyone after quiet, nature, or a darker place to look at the stars should find it here. The property has a sturdy fence and a gate you can lock, and cars, motorcycles, and bicycles are kept right beside the holiday home, visible from a bedroom window. That makes it handy for cycling and motorcycle trips too. We came as two people for a long weekend riding along the Elbe and Havel, hoping for a proper roof over our heads instead of a tent and sleeping bags. We chose well and don't regret it. The home is lovely, very clean, spacious, and well equipped. The landlord was kind and incredibly patient, even with my constant talking. It has what you need for a holiday, and if something isn't there, you probably don't need it. On colder days, you can also try out the wood-burning stove. Reviews can be a matter of personal taste and aren't always fair, so I find them hard to assess. From our point of view, though, we'd recommend this place and want to thank the people who run it.
