Pension Rosengarten

The room was spacious and really nice, with a big comfortable bed, two large mirrors, a safe, and a small table. They’d even folded the towels into a little boat, which was cute. There’s a shared kitchen with a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. You fill in a form with your name and address, then you can check out on your own. The only things I noticed were black spots on the toilet ceiling, possibly mold, and dirt in the gap between the shower and wall. Still, the room overall was worth it, especially at such a good price. There’s no breakfast, but bottled water is provided. The location is very nice, about 20 minutes from the train station and Kaufland supermarket. I wasn’t sure which doorbell to use, the one downstairs with her name on it, but a lady greeted me very warmly. I’d gladly return!

The rose garden is only about 150 meters away on foot, so you can avoid paying for parking there. It’s a quiet guesthouse on a side street, and the rooms are a good size. There’s Wi-Fi and USB ports, plus a shared kitchen with dishes, a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and kettle. I’d stay again.

Both the rose garden and the city are within walking distance, and you really shouldn’t miss either. The welcome was friendly, the rooms were clean and well looked after, and you can make a light meal or some tea.

We were two couples, and the spacious rooms worked well for us. Each had a separate sitting area, a large flat-screen TV, and a bathroom with plenty of storage. Wi-Fi is free. The hostess was charming and served an excellent breakfast with very good coffee. The Ruessel-Pub restaurant is a real insider tip for dinner. This family-run guesthouse has three guest rooms, a breakfast room, and a holiday apartment. It’s practically at the entrance to the city, which made it ideally placed for a visit to the Rosarium. We were thrilled with our stay and sincerely thank them for it.
