After a tough day on the bike, the Krone was a welcome place to rest. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very nice, and the area was quiet and peaceful, with fields and cows all around. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the dining room, then a very good German breakfast the next morning, with plenty of choice to keep us going over the hills.

Waking up to cowbells was truly wunderschön. I stayed here for two nights with my cousin while road-tripping through Europe on holiday in the Black Forest. The service was AMAZING. The owner was very kind, knew a lot about the place and the Black Forest, and could tell us about almost every hotspot.

We found this restaurant after icy roads left us stranded. What a lucky stop: the food was great, and the staff helped us with everything.
