There’s room for two adults and two children in a separate bedroom, and the apartment is ready to move straight into. It has a large living room with a dining table, a bathroom with shower, and a kitchen with plates, cups, a toaster, and a stove. A fairy tale DVD and board games are provided too. The apartment is in a separate building on the landlord’s property, furnished in a practical but charming way, with parking available there. We let the landlord know ahead of arrival, and they came to meet us. We sorted out the keys and tourist tax then.

We spent five nights in Sassnitz over Easter with our grandson, and the two bedrooms were exactly why we chose this apartment. It’s in the rear building and has everything you need. The living room is roomy, with a dining area, TV, video player, and CD player. There were children’s books, lots of information about Rügen and local events, and even a cozy blanket. The rooms are bright and cheerful. It’s a quiet spot, but the harbor and old town are only a few minutes away, as are shops for self-catering. We slept very well on the excellent mattresses. Thanks for the warm welcome. We’d rent this place again in a heartbeat.

There’s a separate entrance to this spacious, clean apartment on the upper floor of a garage building. It’s thoughtfully and lovingly furnished, in an ideal location, and the landlords are friendly. We’d gladly come back and highly recommend it.

The apartment was spotless and very spacious, with room for at least four: a bedroom, a guest room with two beds, and a pull-out couch. It’s above a shed or garage, with the hosts’ house right next door. They were very friendly, and the large parking area is reserved for the landlord and tenant. There are TVs in both the guest room and living room, plus a DVD player in the living room. They provide children’s DVDs and plenty of games, along with books for all ages. I especially liked the folder full of flyers about things to do on Rügen. The kitchen has the usual appliances, and shopping is nearby, about a five-minute walk to Rewe and other shops. The harbor is also five minutes away, with boats leaving for the chalk cliffs. The one thing I missed was Wi-Fi. Sure, it’s a chance to unwind, and O2 reception was good, but internet access would still be useful. I’d gladly stay again.
