Haus Pickenhan

We really liked the rooms, which are stylish and nicely furnished. The minibar fridge was a big problem, though: its noise kept us awake for half the night. We also thought it was inappropriate that quite a few items in the minibar and at breakfast came from a discount store.

I stayed in the extra room in the basement earlier this year. It was charmingly furnished and absolutely spotless. Breakfast had a great range of choices, and the staff were so friendly. I’ll definitely return 😊

The view, fresh air, and location were heavenly, and the value for money was excellent. We felt completely at home thanks to the family atmosphere, friendly welcome, and spotless cleanliness. It’s very well run, and I’d gladly recommend a stay. Thanks for everything, we’ll be back.

There’s a big, comfortable garden with loungers, plus a sauna and pool. Drinks, coffee, and sweets are available from a stocked fridge, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The location is lovely, the welcome is friendly, and it’s a great base for hikers, cyclists, and bikers. Dogs are welcome too. We’d love to come back!
