The building is cute and the surroundings are nice, with a lovely restaurant outside. There’s a lot of potential here, but our stay didn’t come close to what we expected. The staff weren’t very nice. Our room felt old, and the church bell outside rang constantly. It wasn’t too long or too loud, but you should know about it if you plan to go to bed early. The towels were very old and unpleasant. When we asked the woman at reception for another pillow, she just said no. That was a strange response, and not what I expected. Breakfast was fine, if nothing special. And if you’re hoping to swim in the pool, just don’t.

We loved the three-course dinner and matching wines, and the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was great too. The building has a lot of charm, our room was clean, and the lounge was a nice cozy spot. The staff were professional and friendly throughout. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it. Totally worth its four stars.

There’s an expansive forest park, and the location is quiet, with a lovely castle atmosphere. Our room was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast buffet was good, and the food excellent.

After a great day exploring Bamberg, it was a pleasure to return to this wonderful room. The dinners at the Restaurant were outstanding, and the hotel felt like a haven from the hectic world. We would have liked help with our luggage, but managed on our own. A fabulous find.

Free parking is available next to the hotel. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the service was quick and kind. Breakfast had all we needed, and the staff there were attentive too. The one complaint is that the WiFi was very slow and didn’t work properly throughout our stay.
