Classisches Weingut Hoffranzen

The rooms and breakfast were exceptionally good, and we really enjoyed the small wine tasting, especially the delicious wine. We spent one night with the Hoffranzen family, who made us feel very welcome. We'd definitely stay with them again.

You can sit with the owners in the evening, hear about the winery's history, and even share a little of family life. We spent two nights there with friends and couldn't have asked for a better stay. The location is fantastic, the owners are genuine and wonderful, and the wine is well worth trying. We also toured the cellar and sampled the wines. Don't miss breakfast either. I'd recommend the place without hesitation.

We were a group staying overnight, and the service was superb and really friendly. This family-run winery sits right in the center of Mehring and makes excellent wines. There are lovely walks and bike rides through the vineyards along the Moselle River. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was delicious, and they even serve their own grape juice. The modern rooms are really nice, and the breakfast room is great too, it all makes you feel like royalty. You can help yourself to wine and other drinks from a fridge, and the wine is very tasty. The winemakers are happy to answer all your questions. Everything was great, hard to imagine it being better.
