Moselle-side Apartments

Cycling along the Moselle River and around the area is a real treat, and these apartments make a great base. We’ve stayed in Astrid Kohl's two lovely places several times, and it feels a little like coming home. They’re cozy, thoughtfully equipped, and we feel right at ease there. Astrid Kohl is such a warm host. When we arrive, the beds are made and towels are ready in the bathroom and kitchen. There are tea bags, coffee pods, complimentary water in the refrigerator, and regional wines and sparkling wine available to buy. Everything is prepared so carefully. We highly recommend booking with her, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

A large bedroom with a very comfortable box-spring bed, a lovely spacious bathroom, and a cozy living room-kitchen. The apartment is beautiful, and someone has thought of all the little details. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay in the first-floor apartment. Fresh flowers were waiting on the dining table, and the whole place is furnished with care and style. You can see how much heart Ms. Kohl has put into making it welcoming and detailed, and into ensuring guests have a lovely visit. The bicycle garage was a great spot for storing our bikes. The rooftop terrace gave us a fantastic view of the Mehring vineyards, and we spent a wonderful vacation in that apartment. It was superbly equipped and full of thoughtful touches, so we felt very comfortable. Our hostess was incredibly kind. She even took our empty glasses after all the wine we enjoyed on the terrace and at the Huxlay Hut, which we highly recommend. A perfect holiday, and the accommodation had everything we could want.
