We found the nearby forest great for a walk 😎. We were very happy with our one-night stop on the bike tour 😃, though there was nowhere to eat at the property, so we had to order pizza from Herzberg that evening.

There’s a deer farm and plenty of nature, with hiking trails and more. The food was truly excellent, and the rooms were very well equipped. It felt wonderfully idyllic, more like a country hotel or estate than the description suggests. We had a fantastic time and will be back!

This is a lovely countryside spot, surrounded by fields and forests, and it has the feel of an old farmstead or agritourism farm. Summer seems like a good time to spend a day, weekend, or even a vacation here. I wouldn’t recommend coming in winter.

If you want some peace and quiet, this is a great place, even though it’s a little off the beaten track. The property is very well kept, and the rooms have thoughtful decor without feeling cluttered. I really enjoyed my stay.
