We booked three apartments for our extended family, and each was nicely equipped. They're in a pleasant part of town, close to the church and old square. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

We've stayed here twice now, and there'll definitely be another visit. The apartments are spacious, tastefully decorated, and have everything thought through. They're much bigger and better than a hotel room, though breakfast is something you have to prepare yourself. For dinner, there are plenty of restaurants around this charming medieval town.

We spent New Year's Eve 2025 here and had such a wonderful time. The apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished, and first-class. I was especially touched by how warm the hostess was whenever I saw her each day 😁. Thanks again for helping with the cocktail! A real hidden gem. All the best to the owners ❤️

We'd love to return after this lovely stay at the Alte Försterei apartment. Schlitz is worth visiting for its medieval charm, and having parking right outside the door was invaluable. They'd thought of everything, with coffee, milk, and even a little surprise for our dog waiting for us. Our daughter had a highchair ready, too. Fantastic service for both child and dog, a perfect start to our vacation. 5 out of 5 stars!
