Haus Schluchseeblick

The owners gave us such a warm welcome and introduction, along with a little gift. Thank you for that and for a wonderful stay! The apartment is furnished with care, and car enthusiasts in particular will love it. Ours even had a small pool table, which gave us some great games. We didn’t lack for anything else either. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, the bathroom is spacious with two sinks and a large shower, and a huge balcony rounds it all off.

There’s a view of Lake Schluchsee from this quiet apartment on the edge of town. Parking is right at the house, and several shops are only a few hundred meters away.

We found the little apartment nice and perfectly equipped for what we needed. But after we posted our review on Booking.com, the owners threatened legal action through their law firm and charged us extra fees that we’d have to pay unless we deleted the review. They also accused us of not judging the value for money fairly despite the supposed discount, adding, “...for which you wouldn’t even get a broom closet in Schluchsee.” Rather than ask for feedback or ideas for improvement, the owners seem to expect only top reviews.

The view over Schluchsee is fantastic, and the apartment is very spacious. It’s nicely decorated with pictures of classic cars, and it has everything you could need.
