We only booked a triple room, but on arrival we were given an apartment instead. The place has a rustic feel and plenty of charm. Our room was clean and tidied every day, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good, with eggs made fresh when we asked. Dinner was tasty and very fairly priced too. Such good value, we'd happily stay again.

The room was the biggest problem for us. It really wasn't set up for two people: you could feel every mattress spring, the shower water kept switching from hot to cold, the toilet sat very low, and the bathroom was tiny. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously instead of deleting my review. The building is rustic and has some charm, and the staff were friendly when we managed to find them. Breakfast was basic. Don't expect luxury, and nobody told us about the fitness area, bar, or guest card.

The restaurant is dressed up in a tasteful, elegant way, and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Food was good, the prices were fair, and everyone was very friendly. There’s even a cozy, separate smoking bar open from 3 pm. We had a superb time and would definitely recommend it.
