Hotel Auerhahn

The staff were enthusiastic and well trained, and the prices were very reasonable. We loved the fine dining dinner, the spacious spa, and the lovely rooms with their Japanese aesthetic. It’s a beautifully renovated hotel in the mountains, right by the lake. We’re sure to return!

The room, wellness facilities, food, and service all got things right. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, while the quality and thought put into everything are clear. A lovely mix of traditional charm and modern luxury. We can’t wait to stay again.

The spa really impressed us, with its lovely pool and range of saunas. We also had a massage and did yoga. Dinner was delicious, with a great wine list, though I’d have liked a bit less salt and more carbs 😜 Auerhahn Hotel made for a wonderful short break. The entrance and welcome were beautiful, modern, clean, and chic, and dogs are welcome. Our room was simply furnished but felt luxurious, and the lighting and heating controls were high tech and easy to use. Thanks for a lovely stay. We hope to be back soon.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and nicely furnished, with a huge TV. We did miss having tea and coffee in the room, especially for the morning or after the spa, so we wouldn’t have to go to the bar or restaurant. The TV had channels, but we couldn’t stream services like Netflix. At the restaurant, we enjoyed the quality ingredients and presentation, though a few dishes had more dill than we personally like. The spa was beautiful and exceptionally clean, and we appreciated the crystal water selection. I booked a facial, which was one of the most relaxing treatments I’ve ever had. Our girls’ wellness weekend was such a good chance to unwind, and the attentive service made the stay feel special. We’re looking forward to coming back.
