We had a lovely stay, with a roomy, comfortable room and very helpful staff. There was a mix-up with our dinner reservation on the night we checked in, and our table was no longer available when we arrived. The staff arranged a transfer to another restaurant for us. Breakfast was lovely, with a generous range of choices.

Julie at the front desk made a warm first impression and was kind and incredibly helpful with the booking and throughout my visit. Even the drive there felt pleasant. The hotel had a personal, accommodating feel, with a lively but relaxed atmosphere and no crowds. I loved the soft, high-quality bedding and the thoughtful details, including turn-down service and beautifully written personal notes at arrival, dinner, bedtime, and breakfast. The food was a real highlight. Dinner's pigeon ragout had a distinctive flavor that stayed with me. I don't drink alcohol, so the creative mocktails were a pleasant surprise, each one different from the usual nonalcoholic choices. Breakfast was indulgent too, with a full spread and Ossetra caviar on truffled scrambled eggs. A personal, memorable, and indulgent stay.

We had our wedding dinner and stay here soon after the hotel and restaurant opened. The whole experience was very satisfying, and the food and dining in particular stood out.

They made a real effort to make our stay memorable, with thoughtful extras like welcome drinks, fresh fruit, chocolates, and personal notes. The accommodation and service were outstanding, and we really enjoyed dinner at their Michelin star restaurant.

A fantastic garden and a perfect hideaway for a few relaxing days to unwind. Everything felt easy-going and relaxed, with excellent service and top-notch cooking from Fabian and his crew.
