The bed was the one decent part of the room. The sink had no water, the toilet cistern barely refilled, and the room hadn't been cleaned properly. On the TV, only ARD and ZDF worked.

There was cat food on the floor and cobwebs everywhere, and I was apparently expected to clean it up myself. The place was dirty, yet we were supposed to leave it clean.

We found this family-run guesthouse welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere and a superb location. It was excellent value for money too. Highly recommended!
