It’s even better in person than the photos suggest. The host was incredibly hospitable. I’d like to thank him again and hope to visit again someday. Best wishes!

The house works well for two people or more, at 49€ total per day. The kitchen is especially well equipped, and there’s a beautiful balcony overlooking Schmalkalden, which I uploaded in the pictures.

We’ve stayed in both of the Trollmann family’s vacation apartments and have always been very satisfied. The phenomenal view is a big plus, and we’re especially impressed by how clean and well equipped they are. Even everyday items like spices, coffee filters, kitchen towels, and toilet paper are provided. We’ll keep coming back to both the "Trollmann Vacation Apartment" and the "Hiking Vacation Apartment." In summer, we book the two apartments in the same building with a couple of friends.
