The rooms were fully renovated around 2020 and felt very clean and well looked after. We had a great stay at this lovely hotel tucked into a green forest, with plenty of room for walks and hikes. A lovely spot for nature lovers, and for walking your dog.

The German food here was the best I've ever tasted. Such a great place, surrounded by nature at its finest.

Free WiFi, and the food was great. The room was OK too.

The bathroom felt cramped for a room that size, and the lighting was a bit awkward, controlled by either a motion sensor or a timer switch. A regular light switch would have done the job, though it's only a small gripe. Everything else made us want to come back. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even with the hotel full over Pentecost weekend. Breakfast was well stocked, and they happily brought us filter coffee instead of coffee from the machine. Dinner was delicious, and we didn't have to wait long for service despite all the guests. My wife and I would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel to others.
