The burgers were good and fairly priced. It’s a nice spot to grab a drink and chat with other travelers. The setup is partly self-service: you get your own drinks at the bar, then order food at the stand and they bring it to you. The owners are easy to reach by phone, WhatsApp, or other social media apps.

We took a lunch break here while hiking, and the terrace was sunny with a lovely view. The strammer max and würstel mit pommes were both excellent.

We made an unplanned stop with five adults and five children while heading home from a weekend in the Sauerland region. The place looks a little plain from outside, but inside it’s been renovated beautifully, and everyone was super friendly, especially with the children. The menu stood out because it was a bit different from the usual, with a good range for vegetarians too. Everything was nicely presented, tasty, and reasonably priced. Thank you!

We had lunch here last Sunday and really enjoyed both the gnocchi and the sweet potatoes. Delicious food, excellent value, and great service. We’ll definitely come back.
