Christiane made me feel right at home. She knew when I’d be arriving, and even though the kitchen is usually closed, she prepared a lovely Brotzeit for me that day. Everything was delicious, and the extra scrambled eggs were just what I needed after a long walk. The room was clean and spacious, with older furnishings that suit the place. The bed was warm and soft, and the old school TV was a cute step back in time. The view and quiet are a good reason to get out here, and the location along the Rothaarsteig is especially handy for hikers. My dog enjoyed the stay too, and we both felt warmly welcomed. Christiane, the owner, is openly friendly and caring, the kind of host who offers real human connection. That sort of kindness feels rare these days. Thank you for the lovely hours in your house.
