The food is excellent, though there's no a la carte service. With so many rooms, the dining room feels too small, so the dinner and breakfast buffets get chaotic and aren't very relaxing. Still, it's very nice and reasonably priced.

We were able to take a long walk around the Heide from the hotel the next day, and book cabs and other tourist experiences through them. We also ate there and had an excellent experience overall. We'd arrived in Schneverdingen on a whim from Hamburg for my wife's birthday, 25th September 2024, with no reservations. We thought a tourist spot like the Heide would surely have rooms available, but hotel after hotel turned us away as evening came. We were out in the cold with our child, wondering whether to go back to Hamburg. Someone suggested Landhotel Schnuck. The woman who answered our call spoke good English, patiently checked the system, and offered us a room. We got there very late and felt rescued and relieved when we checked in. I hope they keep welcoming more guests and build an even more successful business.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and really nice the whole time, and the place felt like home. It's a peaceful spot for relaxing and slowing down. Dinner was incredible and breakfast unforgettable. I'd recommend it to anyone after a restful holiday with a swimming pool, sauna, wellness, tennis, etc ..

It was only a short stay, but a very pleasant one. The food was nice, the staff really friendly, and breakfast was outstanding. I'd definitely like to come back sometime.

The view over a small wood is nice, the rooms are good, the food is okay, and the staff are great. But it's 2017, and the internet doesn't even reach 2mb/s. There's Wi-Fi but no LAN connection, and it disconnects every 15 minutes.
