We felt very comfortable here and would book again. The café and restaurant were closed because of Covid, but breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The owner even surprised my boyfriend with a birthday serenade on the zither, complete with singing. The accommodations aren’t modern, but they’re in excellent shape and spotlessly clean.

The view is priceless, and we found the whole place wonderfully relaxing. We felt at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to how friendly everyone was. The rooms may not meet today’s idea of “upscale,” but they’re inviting and comfortable, and the food was very good and suited us well. Even our almost-grown daughter was won over and wants to come back. We’ll definitely return next year.

The owners were incredibly friendly, and the location has a lot of charm. The decor is a little dated, though it’s very well kept and spotless. I didn’t notice the poor cell phone reception others have mentioned, and I’d gladly stay here again.

It was quiet and the view was beautiful, but the hotel was empty and there was nobody around. The terrace was locked in the evenings, and the restaurant wasn’t available as advertised. Some photos show a pool and other things that weren’t there. On the hotel’s day off, table tennis and billiards were inaccessible because everything was locked. Very disappointing.

The food was delicious, good home cooking, and everything was very clean. The rooms are simple and practical. The innkeepers welcomed us warmly and looked after us attentively. If you’re after peace and quiet, this is a lovely place. We’ll definitely book again.
