Ferienhof Stetter

The new sauna and relaxation room were a real treat. We spent a week at Stetter Hof with Angela and Alois over Carnival, with heaps of snow and great sledding and skiing nearby. The children loved feeding the animals and riding the ponies, even in the snow. We had lovely, laid-back evenings playing games together in the tavern. It was a fantastic holiday, and we’ll be back. Our kids were outside on the farm the whole time, with animals, tractor rides, pony rides, barbecues, and a play barn for rainy weather to keep them busy. The apartment was cozy, very clean, and spacious across two floors. There’s also a bread delivery service. The hosts gave us such a warm welcome. It’s wonderfully quiet here, and we could easily drive to lots of attractions. Thanks for such a lovely stay, and keep up the great work, you two!

The Bayerwaldhaus was just what we hoped for, a recently renovated, roughly 150-year-old house with a lovely rustic feel. Set apart from the main farm, it gave us the quiet New Year’s Eve we wanted for our dog, while still letting us enjoy the farm and area as a family. Our two-year-old daughter had plenty to do, from petting and feeding the animals to pony rides, making snowmen, and playing on the playground. I could get some work done while my girls played. A ski slope and toboggan run are about 10 minutes away, hiking trails start at the farm, and restaurants and supermarkets are also around a 10-minute drive. We first contacted Mrs. Stetter in late summer, and she was friendly and very honest, with lots of useful information about the farm and region. Angela and Alois were always there when we needed them. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

There’s plenty for children to do here, including tractor and pony rides, campfires, and lots of ride-on toys in the courtyard. The holiday apartment is lovely and spacious.
