We really enjoyed our stay. The top-floor room was spacious, with great sunsets and a lovely night view through the skylights. The kitchen had all the essentials, and evenings were quiet. There’s a very good restaurant next door, plus a bakery that opens at 6 a.m. It’s an easy walk or bus ride to the lake, and the Residence in bertesgaden up the road is interesting. The local bus runs hourly, and there’s a good grocery store 5 km away. This was our first time staying at a gasthaus, and it went very well.
