The location was great: Königssee is a 30-40 minute walk away, there are bakeries and restaurants nearby, and the bus stop is just two minutes from the apartment, so we didn't need to use the car all the time. We stayed in Berganemone for three nights, and it was one of the best places I've stayed. It was beautifully renovated, sparkling clean, quiet, and spacious, with a lovely terrace and astonishing views. The kitchen had everything for a longer stay. Astrid, the owner, was welcoming and positive, and gave lots of tips about things to do in the area. I'll definitely come back!

We know a few hotels in the area, but this one was a great surprise. It's well located, not far from the fantastic lake Königssee. There are different kinds of rooms, with fresh paint and new furniture, and each has a private bathroom. Breakfast is included in the price and was good. The service was very friendly and kind. There's a refrigerator in the lobby that guests can use day or night. We had a good time here, and from now on it's the only hotel we'll choose. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious and clean, with a new bathroom, and breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly boiled egg. Ms.Küpper made everything easy for us with helpful information about the area and things to do. She’s friendly, welcoming, and knows her stuff, and her English is very good as well as her German. We visited in October 2019, so this review is a little late, but I think it’s still relevant. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Thank you, Ms. Küpper!

Königssee was easy to get to by bus or on foot, and the owner gave us lots of useful tips about places to visit. She even arranged breakfast an hour early on our last day so we could leave on time. We stayed for a week in October and had such memorable days. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast had plenty of choices. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

We’ve spent the last two summers here and loved both stays. The location puts you close to everything, and Fräu Küpper is just lovely. We’d happily recommend Pension Berganemone.
