Hotel an der Sonne

We only stayed one night, and it was a cozy place to sleep with a good restaurant and a proper breakfast. The staff were friendly, and there was plenty of parking. Nothing to complain about, we'd come back.

On a motorcycle trip, we found this a nice, characterful place with clean rooms. The evening menu was good, and there were pleasant spots to sit outside. The covered parking was handy too.

The garden along the side of the hotel was my favorite part. It was lovely to sit there during the day or into the evening, and there was a friendly local cat hanging around the beer garden too. Breakfast was better than I expected from a small hotel, with a good selection for a continental meal. The room was a little old but very clean and comfortable; mine had a balcony looking over the valley, plus both a bathtub and a shower. For such a reasonable price, the facilities were excellent. It's within walking distance of the village center, with a few places to eat nearby as well as the hotel's own restaurant.

The staff were friendly, and the beds were really comfortable. The food was good, though a bit expensive. On New Year's Eve we had to pay an extra 25 eur per person, and the meal wasn't anything special. I hope that extra charge went as a bonus to the employee working that night, because it certainly didn't mean better food.
