**Disappointed** I’ve edited this because individual guests don’t seem to be a priority here. We booked a room described as having a lake view, but it actually faced a parking lot and road, with a club across the street. There’s only a tiny glimpse of the lake through the trees if you look carefully. We couldn’t really leave the curtains open because of people and cars outside. When we raised it, staff said “Lake view means the lake side of the building.” The photos in the hotel description all showed the main building by the lake. After check-in, we were told our room was in another location, and we weren’t allowed to use the garden or enjoy the lake because an event was taking place. The booking was non-refundable, so even if they’d told us about the event beforehand, there was nothing we could do. It disrupted our plans and left a very bad impression. The building we stayed in was new, but there was a strange smell in both the hallway and bathroom. The room itself was standard, and we were surprised they still provide small disposable plastic bottles of toiletries. They also really push the €20-per-person breakfast, even though checkout is at 10 am. It felt like guests were expected to work around the staff’s schedule.

There’s free parking on site, and the location made for a lovely stay. The breakfast was a real treat to start the day, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything included. Lots of thoughtful details around the place, with fresh flowers brightening it up.

It felt like staying in a private villa right on the lake. We had a birthday party here, spent the afternoon at the bathing spot, then had dinner on the amazing terrace. The rooms were cozy and sweetly decorated.

I came for a wedding, and it was magical. The property is beautiful, the staff were wonderful, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and well equipped. I could almost forget we were still in the middle of a pandemic. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, though, which is a big no-no for a four-star place.

Set in the woods, this is an amazing place, with lovely surroundings and great rooms. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and they went well beyond what we expected by arranging vegan breakfast for us. We hadn’t expected that at all. We’ll definitely be back!
