Landhotel Schorssow

We really liked the location and the hotel. The service was excellent, and we'd definitely come back.

Katharina, the waitress, was the one real bright spot. She clearly enjoyed her work. The website hadn't said there was no restaurant, so we had to find somewhere else to eat each evening. Inside, the place wasn't clean, with cobwebs everywhere, even though from the outside it hadn't looked too bad. For the price, the experience was completely out of balance. I wouldn't recommend it.

The restaurant is well worth a visit, the food was fantastic, and breakfast was a lovely way to start each day. We stayed from August 18-25, 2020, and came away having had a really relaxing few days. The staff were happy to stop for a bit of small talk, and every request was handled straight away, including a spontaneous change to our booking and personal attention. Thanks for the wonderful service. We'd love to return. All the best until then, from the Köhler family.

The lake right across from the hotel is lovely to look at from the restaurant terrace, and it's great for a swim too. We especially like the friendly, laid-back feel here, you settle in right away. This was our third stay at Landhotel Schorssow, where we spent a week on our summer vacation. The food is excellent and delicious. Plenty of other good restaurants in the Mecklenburg Lake District haven't stopped what seems like all the hotel guests from eating here in the evenings. The recently renovated rooms now have fantastic box-spring beds, and we slept like a dream. We'll be back!
