The food was all Bio, so we felt confident giving it to our one-year-old. Quality really comes through in the meals, rooms, cleanliness, and service. Everyone on staff, including the owner, was super friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean; it didn’t have a kettle, but the owner brought one within minutes when we asked. The bathroom fixtures had a gold finish that gave the room a luxurious look.

We ate at the restaurant on both nights, and the meals were the highlight. The first night we had Zwiebelrostbraten and Spätzle, then pepper steak with Bratkartoffeln the next, followed by chocolate mousse. I’d never ordered a fillet steak cooked bleu before, and it was well worth it. There’s an extensive wine list, a pleasure to read even if most bottles are beyond my budget. The service was excellent, attentive but relaxed, and reception was friendly and helpful too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend, and thank you.

The bed was amazing and the room was nice, so I slept really well. But the food was the highlight, the best we had in the Black Forest.

The breakfast really wasn’t as good as it was made out to be. I never had breakfast, but the owner insisted that I pay for it for both days because I had booked it. The behavior was completely unfriendly.
