We visited three times for dinner with our two families, seven people in all, during July 17-24, 2021. We ate both indoors and out in the beer garden. The food was delicious and fairly priced, and the atmosphere and wait times were great. The owners were in wonderful spirits, making for lovely evenings. Many thanks and best wishes from Hesse.

The restaurant and kitchen are well worth recommending. The food is fresh, nicely presented, and good quality, while the prices are generally reasonable. In the morning there's a decent breakfast, too. The hotel is beautiful and clean, and the owner and her team are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and courteous. The rooms are clean and suit the age of the building. A fully modern look wouldn't fit here anyway. Sure, anyone can find something to complain about, but with this price and quality, that feels unfair.
