Breakfast was a real highlight. We were served juice, and could ask for coffee or hot chocolate. There was a basket of rolls and pretzels, plus cheese, cold cuts, strawberries, sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, pickles, butter, jam, and chocolate croissants. They provide bags for anything you’d rather take with you. The hostess was incredibly kind, and we’d happily return. The room had everything we needed, including a kettle with different teas and a small fridge we could fill ourselves. There’s another fridge in the hallway with sparkling wine, beer, and other drinks at reasonable prices.

Breakfast in the traditional dining room is something I’ll really miss from this trip. Frau Marion brought us warm croissants and traditional bread, along with cold cuts, cured meats, jam, butter, and yogurt. Hot drinks were available if requested. There was no espresso, just American coffee, but it did the job. We picked this guest house for the price, the reviews, and its location near Europa Park, and we were happy with the choice. It’s about a 15-minute drive from the park’s car park. Our clean, nicely furnished room had a fridge, hairdryer, fan, kettle with tea and coffee, shower supplies, and a small balcony. Frau Marion was practical and efficient, and suggested a place for traditional German food. She even offered to call and reserve a table. Frau Marion speaks German and only a little English, so Google Translate may be useful if you don’t speak German. I knew a little, and we got by. There’s space for two cars in the courtyard, but street parking is easy to find. The village is very quiet at night.

The hostess was lovely, relaxed, flexible, and always ready to help. Everything was very clean, and breakfast was fantastic. The place is furnished with a lot of care and feels comfortable. Thanks so much, and see you again soon!

It’s such a quiet guesthouse, and the hosts are warm and keen to make you feel at home. The rooms are a little dated and might be ready for some renovation, but I still felt comfortable and welcome throughout the stay. Breakfast was generous and plenty for us. The rolls, coffee, eggs, and cold cuts were freshly prepared and served, and they were happy to handle extra requests.
