Haus Magnolia

Sonja made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and the generous breakfast delivered to the suite each morning was wonderful. The suite was much larger than we'd expected after staying in hotels in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, and it was stocked with everything we needed. We could watch hang gliders jumping from the mountains through the huge living room window, and the neighbourhood was peaceful. A pleasant walk took us to a lake where we could swim. We enjoyed cooking in the full kitchen after so many restaurant meals on our trip. A nearby Rewe had what we needed, and we could eat at the living room table or out on the large deck. The castles were only a short drive away. We hadn't expected to return to this area soon, but now we're hoping to come back as soon as we can.

We felt right at home in this beautiful apartment and lacked nothing. It was clean and very well equipped, and our hostess was incredibly friendly. She welcomed us warmly and immediately shared lots of helpful tips for our stay. Thanks, Sonja, we'd be happy to come back!

That bread roll delivery was fantastic, and the apartment was spotless and fully equipped, with nothing missing. Sonja was always ready to help and did so much to make us comfortable. She's a truly lovely woman, and we send a big hug to Balou! We had a fantastic stay in her spacious holiday apartment, with a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom all to ourselves. It was clean and tidy, and we could see Neuschwanstein Castle from the living room. There's a supermarket within walking distance, and lots to do nearby: Tegelberg, mountain hikes, the Royal Palaces, Lake Forggensee and the Royal Crystal Thermal Baths. If we holiday in the Allgäu again, we'd book in a heartbeat. Many thanks, Sonja!
