Romantic Pension Albrecht

From our room and balcony, we could admire beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the owner was extremely kind and attentive. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. It’s a fantastic location, and I’d definitely stay here again next time.

Breakfast was tasty and had everything we needed, and the owners were friendly and helpful. They even let us keep our car in the free parking spot below our window for a few extra hours after checkout. Our top-floor room had a balcony facing Neuschwanstein, with an amazing view. The room and bathroom were spacious and had everything, including facilities for making tea and coffee. It’s a charming, quaint house, an easy walk from town and both castles. I’d happily come back and recommend it.

We could see Neuschwanstein from the balcony of our attic room, which was clean, with white walls, an adequate bathroom, and an okay bed. But the welcome was brusque. A sign stood by the road, while the building itself had no sign and was hidden by tall vegetation. We went into the parking area and checked with a young man, who confirmed it was Pension Albrecht. Inside the small entrance, a bewhiskered individual immediately asked for payment, with no friendliness at all. We skipped the breakfast, which wasn’t included, and went for a walk. I hadn’t realized there were so many other nearby places to stay, and I wouldn’t return here.

We went in December, and the room felt a little cold, but the view from the bedroom made up for it. The owner was kind and attentive, and breakfast was home-cooked. It’s the cutest little bed and breakfast, with an easy five-minute uphill walk into town.
