We stayed four days in April and found the apartment clean, comfortable, and lovingly furnished. Nothing was missing, except we needed to buy more toilet paper. For four people, another roll or two would have helped. Alpenglück has plenty of comfort, and it’s easy to switch off and relax. The swing was our personal highlight. The location is fantastic and the view stunning. From both balconies you can see the lake when it’s full, as well as the mountains and Neuschwanstein Castle. Unfortunately, the lake wasn’t full during our stay. The balconies also have sturdy mosquito nets, and the bedroom windows are easy to darken. Nights are very quiet and we slept wonderfully, though the beds were a bit too soft for us. That’s just personal preference. The landlady is very friendly. Definitely recommended.

The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the lake is close by, making it ideal for swimming or stand-up paddleboarding, even with kids. It’s easy to relax here. The penthouse is beautifully furnished and has two balconies with magnificent views, though a tree partly hides Neuschwanstein Castle.

Those two balconies are the highlight, with a different view from each one. Everything was great in this perfect holiday apartment. We’d gladly return.

The landlady is incredibly friendly, and the location is uniquely beautiful. The apartment is fantastic, spotlessly clean and modern, with lovely attention to detail. It has everything you need. Simply perfect.
