I got there early and sat out on the spacious terrace with an espresso macchiato while I waited for the group. There’s a view of the Mosel from there. We’d come on a recommendation from someone who lives nearby, and it turned out to be a great call. Dinner was excellent: seasonal Bärlauch soup, then a very good rump steak cooked just how I like it, with good fries. The cook came by for a chat too. Such a great evening!

I can only speak for the restaurant, but it’s fantastic. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the chanterelle soup was delicious, and the gnocchi may be the best vegetarian dish we’ve ever had. It isn’t the place for a cheap, quick meal, but the price is very reasonable.

Dinner was excellent and the price felt fair, though it wasn’t cheap. Our only small gripe was the wobbly table outside. We had to watch that it didn’t tip over, so it really needs fixing soon.
