The shower was a bit janky, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The next morning, though, some of the staff were really kind and breakfast was good. Our late check-in had a big impact on the experience. Because of unavoidable circumstances, we couldn't arrive until after 11 p.m. The front desk was closed and nobody was there, so our keys had been left on the counter. One key was missing, and a note said it was in a safe. After some searching, someone who spoke German called the hotel from there and helped us find the safe box outside the entrance. There was no code written down, so it would have been very difficult for all of us to get into our rooms without help. A couple of the room doors were also hard to open, which wouldn't have mattered as much if we hadn't been exhausted or could have asked reception for help. If we'd checked in earlier while staff were there, I imagine this would easily have been a three or even four star review. As things went, it wasn't the best experience.

The rooms are big and nice, the opposite of the old building impression the hallway gives. Make sure to get a room on the opposite side of the street. Reception and dining room staff are very friendly and ready to help.

The rooms are nice, the staff are really friendly, and the hotel is right near the center of Schweinfurt. But there’s no air conditioning, which was a problem when I stayed in weather above 30 degrees. The restaurant only serves breakfast, and the selection is very limited.

Breakfast was fair, though there wasn't a lot to choose from. My single room had enough space for one person, it was clean and quiet, and I slept really well.

A cute place with clean rooms and pleasant staff. The hotel feels quite old-fashioned, and breakfast is the only meal.
