The lakeside setting is lovely, and Wismar is only a 45-minute drive away. Even in Advent, you can get to the city center by tram or enjoy a pleasant 45-minute walk along the lakeshore, with a chance to stop for mulled wine or eggnog. Inside, the apartment is tastefully furnished and very spacious, with a large bathtub for a warm bubble bath in colder weather. The hosts gave us a warm welcome, and we appreciated the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and fruit basket.

The owners were so friendly and shared plenty of tips. We had lots of room in this clean, lovely apartment, with everything we needed. The balcony view over Lake Schwerin was breathtaking. Thanks for the fruit basket, wine, and such a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back!

There’s a parking spot in the courtyard, and the friendly owners live in the building. The apartment is right by Schwerin beach, very spacious, and furnished superbly. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.
