Schwerin City Apartment

The location was the best part: a fairly quiet street near the markets and castle, and we could park for free right outside the house. Getting the key was easy too. We stayed in the suite with the white bathroom and large kitchen, and while it wasn’t a bad stay, I wouldn’t recommend it based on how much we enjoyed it. For the price, improvements are needed. The shower was a real problem for one of our older guests, who couldn’t use it the whole weekend. There’s only a tub, with a sloped bottom that’s very slippery to get into, and the guard can’t be removed, leaving only one way in. Even one of the younger people with us skipped a shower one day. Cleaning could be better as well. It wasn’t exactly dirty and was reasonably maintained, but there were long black hairs and gravel in the corners. At first glance, the place seems perfect, and I can see why it has so many good reviews, but there are quite a few smaller issues. The decor is very plain, and the high ceilings make the room echo. More furnishings might make it cozier. There’s a sitting area, but it isn’t comfortable. The beds are all low with very thin mattresses. We put both extra mattresses on the same foldable bed just to make it okay. The bedding was rough and noisy, and the towels were among the thinnest and stiffest I’ve ever seen. There was also an annoying sound every thirty minutes, and I don’t know where it came from. The curtains don’t cover the whole windows, so lots of street light gets in.
