Best Western loftstyle Hotel Schwieberdingen

The heat made sleep miserable when I stayed in summer. There's no AC, and my room was still 30 degrees at 2 am. Then in the morning, noise starts early: the gardener begins around 5-6 am and mows the lawn while guests are sleeping. If not that, there's a delivery at 6 am, with a truck idling half a meter from the balcony for half an hour. Trucks, cars, and other traffic also pass by the window all night. The free WiFi is unreliable, even though there are access points around the hotel, and it disconnects or doesn't work much of the time. The building was rebuilt about half a year ago, but the hallways and rooms smell strongly of some kind of air-freshening chemical. The workmanship seems poor, like five holes in a wall for one cable. You might also end up just 15 meters from an electrical transformer that buzzes constantly. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The staff are really friendly, and the place is definitely clean and tidy. But it gets noisy, the heaters make the air quite dry, and that blue TV LED stands out brightly once the other lights are off.

We spent two days here for a workshop, and the service made it easy for everyone to focus. The coffee and cakes were really good; the food could have been better.

It's expensive, and the room gets so hot it was hard to sleep. I wouldn't choose it in summer. There's no fridge or bath, and the WiFi is useless, with a weak signal and frequent dropouts. The staff are kind, though, and breakfast isn't bad.
