It feels cozy, warm, and home-like, and everything was neat and clean. The place may not look special at first, but I'd happily recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in the "Urlaubsmagie UT" apartment. The sauna and whirlpool were available, though 20 degrees was too cold for me, and the path over to them had no lighting. The apartment itself could be lovely, which makes its condition a shame. The bedroom felt much too tight, the duvet was thin, and with no curtains in the living room you feel on display. The furniture looks worn and thrown together, with little things missing, like a tablecloth. Cooking was awkward because there was no counter space for chopping, although pots and dishes were supplied. There is quite a lot stored in the basement, if you know about it. We knew the bathroom was outside the apartment, but this was still the worst vacation rental we've ever had.

The string lights all around are a lovely touch, and the outdoor space is beautiful. Inside, it's well furnished and has what you need, but a few small repairs would help: the curtains slip off their tracks, a chair brace is loose, and the coffee table corners are glued on. The toilet and bathroom are outside the apartment, reached through the hallway, and shared with other guests.

Everything was very clean, and the welcome was friendly. Breakfast was generous, and it was handy to have a big fridge and microwave available for guests. The interior is carefully kept and full of decorations, though it isn't the solid-wood standard you'd expect at a star-rated hotel. We'd gladly return.
