Haus Rufinus

The owner was a friendly lady. Everything else was okay, though the TV was very small and there isn't a restaurant apart from breakfast.

Breakfast had something for everyone, and the owner was very friendly. The room is cozy with classic furnishings, while the bathroom has been nicely renovated, just as the photos show. If we work in the area again, we'd definitely stay here.

The road outside Haus Rufinus is the one drawback, since nearly everyone drives too fast. It didn't bother us much, though, as shutting the windows kept the noise out. Inside, the place was spotless, with fresh bed linens every other day, something we don't even get in 4-star hotels. Our dog was welcomed just as warmly as we were, and the final cleaning fee was minimal. Other places nearby charge an extra €25 per day. Mrs. Jensen, who runs this lovingly cared-for hotel, was always smiling and had a kind word for guests. We also booked two massages on the spur of the moment and would highly recommend them. Room 6 was very noisy, and the bathroom was so small that sitting on the toilet was almost impossible. The TV was far too small and its channels weren't sorted. Paying at check-in wasn't possible. Breakfast wasn't served until 7:30, and when I politely asked to pay before it, the lady refused despite clearly having time. She only agreed after I insisted, even though my request was outrageous. At checkout, her condescending, presumptuous manner made it clear what she thought of me. After breakfast, she didn't even say goodbye. I can't recommend it.
