The pool was warm, clean, and very nice, and the lake was crystal clear and really cool at this time of year. There’s a so-called “private beach,” though people can also reach it from the street, which didn’t affect our enjoyment. The hotel is part of an upscale senior living facility; we hadn’t realized that, but it made no difference to our stay. The rooms were clean and very nice, and the staff, especially at the bar, were amazingly friendly and accommodating. Wi-Fi got very scarce the farther we were from the lobby and restaurant. As an American, I missed having AC, though the nights were mild and a nice breeze came through the windows.

It’s a nice location, though the beds felt a bit hard. Breakfast needs improvement to earn five stars. Remember to book the sauna, or it’ll be cold... 😟

A lovely little getaway, just a stone’s throw from central Munich!

The rooms have a quaint feel and the views are beautiful. The food was a little bland, but okay.

Good location, but to me it’s a three-star hotel charging four-star prices.
