The apartment is spacious and pleasant, and there's a good restaurant and winery there too. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

The landlady was so friendly, and we were completely happy with this very clean apartment in a lovely spot. The only small inconvenience was that the double bed had a bedside lamp and outlet on just one side. Still, the five stars are well deserved, and we'd stay here again on our next trip to the Moselle. For food, we'd skip the restaurants along the Moselle Promenade. Some are said to be like chip shops, and a few seem even worse. Restaurant Alt Cochem is one we recommend.

The hostess was lovely, and the kitchen looked new and had everything we needed. The place seems to have been refurbished since some older reviews, with a new sofa and comfortable chairs. There was some dust, especially up high on the lamps and the bathroom extractor fan. It's an easy walk into Kochem's town center, though the road outside gets fairly busy, something to bear in mind at night. Highly recommended!

We stayed on September 17, 2019. The location on the Moselle was lovely, with a beautiful view and parking right outside. The apartment didn't feel worth the price to us, especially after reading the positive reviews. It was fairly clean at eye level, but there was a lot of dust higher up. The decor felt very dated. The beds were hard and tiny, either singles or fold-out/cabinet beds, and the pillow was poor. The bedding was clean but had a strong laundry perfume smell, which was unpleasant; the towels smelled the same. The basic sofa wasn't comfortable, and neither were the dining table and chairs. We didn't feel it deserved 4.2 stars.

We were warmly welcomed by the landlady and had a wonderful stay in a guest apartment decorated with real care. It had everything we could need, and we didn't miss a thing. We'll be back next year. ❤️😊🌞
