Seehus Ostsee

The location is great, with the beach about a 10-minute walk away, and the upstairs apartment has loads of space and a nice layout. But the place felt completely neglected and wasn't worth the price. Things were broken, damaged, or just dirty, and the balcony couldn't be used. There was no attention to detail, and the landlady seemed uninterested and didn't understand our concerns. I'd tell anyone wanting a genuinely relaxing stay to look elsewhere. The location is the only reason for two stars; otherwise, I'd give it zero or one.

If you want some peace and quiet, this is a lovely spot, and we'd happily return. We couldn't use the room we booked online because we were bringing our dog, but I was contacted right away and offered an apartment instead. It was very nice, with a terrace and access to the garden. The kitchen was fairly modern and had everything we needed, and the beds were made up beautifully. I did miss having direct contact when we arrived, though that's a small thing.

Breakfast was plentiful and costs €10 per person at the moment, and the place was very clean. We had booked with a dog, but the reservation was apparently listed without one. The room would have been much too small, so they moved us to a holiday apartment, which naturally came at a completely different price. Still, it was lovely there and I'd recommend it.

Fine for a night, and clean and functional, but the place didn't feel especially inviting. There are different kinds of apartments, some with kitchens and some without, plus a common room. Compared with other places I've stayed, these felt practical but short on character. I also felt some attention to detail was missing, which made it harder to feel comfortable.
