We didn’t get to try breakfast, though it looked really fresh, and the coffee in the morning was great. After staying in hotels all over the world, I found this one among the cleanest. It was very quiet too, and with no unpleasant smells anywhere, I slept well. I’d recommend booking a room with breakfast.

We were a family of four, and each time we dealt with staff they were very friendly. Breakfast had loads to choose from, including breads, cheeses, cold cuts, chopped vegetables, cereals, muesli and tea. We were glad we’d added it. We got a nice surprise when we saw the rooms: one was set up for the adults with a lovely holiday welcome bag, and the children’s room had chocolate Santas. We’d been a little surprised to receive two room keys. One thing to keep in mind if you’re staying upstairs: the elevator is shut down when reception closes for the night, so you’ll need to take the stairs if you return late.

My family member was at your hotel, and for 18 hours I had no idea how they were doing. I was 3,500 kilometers away from Germany, and we all depended on Wi-Fi, but the phone line couldn’t get internet there in the forest. Guests say the internet is bad, but in 2024 Hotel Montana has no internet at all!!!

The room was clean and fresh, the staff were nice, and breakfast was excellent. There was a slight bad smell in the bathroom, though. Without that, it would have been five stars.

Our rooms were quiet and spacious, and ours connected to the kids’ room, which I really appreciated. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the included breakfast was delicious.
