It’s a nice hotel in pleasant surroundings beside the Mösel, with comfortable rooms, a good restaurant, and a nice wellness centre. The service is what you’d expect from a four-star hotel. Unfortunately, the wellness centre was opposite the hotel and spread across the building. See extra remarks below.

Everything is kept clean, and the staff are kind. The hotel feels very modern, and the restaurant is really good, with excellent three-to-five-course menus. Highly recommended from Denmark 🇩🇰

You can fill your days with bike rides along the Mosel, walks through the hillside vineyards, or time at The Villa Spa for saunas, massages, and a heated pool. Tourist spots and castles are close too, so there’s plenty to do if you want. It’s also a lovely place just to slow down and enjoy the quiet riverside setting. The Hafenstube is a gem, and the rooms are updated, quiet, clean, and well furnished. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, with cakes available all day. The staff are polite, friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Definitely don’t miss it.

We spent two nights in Villa 1894. The rooms are high quality, and the huge heated outdoor pool is fantastic. Breakfast or a glass of wine on the mosel terasse under the grapes, looking out toward the Mosel, was lovely. Great value for money.
