Hotel Gästehaus Pfefferle

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great too.

We had such a warm welcome, and the whole stay felt just right, from breakfast to the easy, pleasant conversation. The hotel itself is wonderfully cozy, and there’s a charming little outdoor area for breakfast or relaxing. We’ll definitely come back. We’ve already recommended it to others.

The location made it easy to get into town quickly, and the welcome was friendly. The lady serving breakfast and handling checkout was also very nice. Breakfast was okay, though it was just prebaked rolls, and the sausage tasted like discount supermarket stuff. We stayed two nights in room 18/3 in the annex, so breakfast meant walking over to the main building, which was inconvenient in bad weather. The room was small and old, and the building sits right by the street. There were no shutters or blinds, so we couldn’t leave a window open at night. Traffic made it too noisy. The bed was a disaster, two single beds pushed together with a terrible mattress. I was glad I only booked two nights. We won’t return.

My apartment was in an annex, a short walk from the main building where breakfast was served. Breakfast was plentiful and good, and both the owner and staff were very attentive. The place also has rooms as well as holiday apartments. Mine was furnished in a rustic style and had everything for a pleasant stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and bedroom. I’d gladly stay there again on a future trip to Sigmaringen.
