Ferienhaus im Wiesengrund

It's such a shame, because we always felt comfortable at the house. The new owner is unreliable and doesn't keep his promises, and seems to have no interest in long-time guests. This review is specifically about the new owner. The lovely people who owned the house until recently deserved five stars for many years.

We stayed with our extended family across four generations and were very happy. The apartment was quiet, well equipped for all nine of us, and there was plenty of parking. The neighborhood was friendly too. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves, including a proper grill on the large balcony. The bedrooms were in quiet spots, and especially important for us, there were enough toilets and washing facilities. We'd definitely come back if we're in the Eifel again.

We often travel with our seven families, and everything worked out here, from the value for money and surroundings to the super friendly owners and lovely area for hiking in the Eifel and exploring Rursee. The house was grand and cozy, and it was very clean when we arrived, so we were happy to pay the €120 end cleaning fee. We had lots of adults, a newborn, and children with us. The kitchen was really well equipped, with two ovens and plenty of large pots. The men were comfortable at the bar, while the women were happy on the many sofas. All the rooms were big enough, and some had their own bathroom or sink. We'd highly recommend it.
