Herbert and Doris were so welcoming and attentive that we felt at home straight away. Even in autumn, the apartment is a lovely place to stay, with everything you could need for a good visit. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Herbert showed us how to reach a nearby bike path, and we were able to drive right to it. Doris shared some tasty lettuce from the garden, then sent us home on our last day with flowers, plants, and seeds. Some of those are now growing in our own garden. They were both so helpful, and the view over the garden and Ruhr River was fantastic. We spent a wonderfully relaxing week there. The rooms were spacious and stayed cool, and everything was clean. The kitchen was a little small, but had all we needed. Thanks so much for a lovely week!

The hosts are friendly and know the area well, with plenty of local tips to share. The apartment is beautiful and fully equipped, and the garden is a lovely spot to take in the view. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is a great place. You'll probably wish you could stay longer. Maria and Peter H.

There are lots of options for hiking and cycling nearby, and you can also take a boat trip on Lake Obersee. The cottage has a covered terrace with a beautiful view. Doris and Herbert are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the home has every comfort. A lovely place to unwind.

We had a fantastic Christmas stay. Doris and Herbert welcomed us warmly and had all the little extras we needed for New Year's. Having fresh rolls delivered each day was a nice convenience. The holiday home is comfortable and equipped with more than enough. From 'Herberts Eck' you can really appreciate how beautiful the surrounding nature is. We'll definitely come back, this time to cycle!
