The forest paths nearby are lovely for a walk. We stopped here on the way south, and breakfast was a real highlight: lots of choice, fresh fruit served in nice little portions, and excellent even with table service during the Covid period.

A family-run traditional guesthouse, with staff who were genuinely kind and helpful.

The food was fine, though nothing special. It was very busy and we waited nearly an hour; the service was good, but the staff seemed completely overwhelmed.

We had a great meal here, and the service was even better. A really good place to eat out.
