What made me want to return to Simonswald was the chance to see Klemens and his family again. They made us feel at home throughout our stay, and Klemens welcomed us with coffee or beer as soon as we arrived. We barely spoke German and he spoke little English, but he still made a real effort to connect over a cold local beer. Pension Schlossbergblick is a wonderful place to stay in this tiny, beautiful town of 2,000 people.

The rooms had a lovely vintage feel and were kept very clean and tidy, with daily cleaning. The owners were generous and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. They kept offering to refill the dishes and even provided small paper bags so we could take some food for later. It’s well placed for visiting the main attractions within an hour. We had a very nice stay and would recommend it to friends visiting.

Really good value, with lovely clean rooms and beds we slept well in. The owner checked in by phone to see if everything was okay, and welcomed us with drinks. Breakfast was great too. We'd gladly recommend it and come back anytime.

The breakfast was a 10/10 and covered everything we wanted. We were warmly welcomed and got amazing service throughout our stay at Pension Schlossbergblick. Whenever something came up, the host was ready to find a solution or make an improvement. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Simonswald.

We stayed four days at Pension Schlossbergblick and would happily return. The host was friendly and attentive, and the comfortable rooms had TVs and fans for hot weather. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit and enough food to take along as a snack. Parking right outside was convenient, and Simonswald is well placed for nearby attractions. The only downside for us was the small bathroom, which was a little difficult to ventilate.
